Solardo launches new label, Sola Eclipse with an EP from Caravaca

Share

Solardo’s new Minimal label, Sola Eclipse, kicks off with a heavyset underground two-tracker from Spanish artist Caravaca.

The release kicks off with the title track ‘Shhh!’, delving deep into a flurry of chunky drums and hissing hat grooves. A rolling sub-bass melody pushes the record along whilst synths and one-shots dice in and out alongside stirring vox chops before a resounding vocal strikes without warning, wrapping up a vigorous basement jam. ‘My Bassline’ follows with subterranean vibes from the outset, combining a rolling bed of kicks and dusty percs with a rhythmic low-frequency bassline that pulsates from end to end. A hypnotic vocal floats throughout the track alongside narcotic synth stabs and murky samples to deliver a welcoming yet moody rabbit hole of danceability.

Born in Malaga, Caravaca’s style travels across House, Tech House and other sub-genres of House and Techno. Smooth, lively and playful, his sound brings about a fantastically deep journey – embracing a dark but seductive atmosphere with massive basslines.

Ex-resident DJ at Hï Ibiza, Destino Pacha, Provocateur Dubai, and Aloft Abu Dhabi; he was also nominated best DJ in UAE and best artist by Vicious magazine in Spain. He has performed at several highly esteemed events and venues globally, including Milan Fashion Week, Sunwaves Festival, Vortex Festival, Big Burn Festival, Uludag Music Festival, Los Alamos Festival & DC10 official after-party in Ibiza.

Caravaca owns two labels, Nomevea Records and +Ctrl, which he has published regularly since 2017. He created the labels to share his spirit with the world while producing distinctive sounds. What’s more, he aims to tear down the barrier between artists and labels giving way to emerging artists in the Spanish Tech-House and Techno scene.

We premiere ‘Shhh!’ on Data Transmission, check it out here and grab it on Beatport.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
