The Yacht Week join Data Transmission Radio for Residency

Share

For all those party people dreaming of new dancefloor adventures in paradise locations, tune into the brand new DT Radio residency from The Yacht Week. Kicking off this Friday, each month one of The Yacht Week resident DJs will take you on a musical journey reflecting a different aspect of these incredible travel and music experiences.

The Yacht Week is the original floating festival and brings together adventurous young travellers from around the world to join a flotilla of yachts, sailing to amazing places (Croatia, Greece, Sardinia, Montenegro, Tahiti, The Bahamas, Martinique & St Lucia) to enjoy a mix of exploration, activities, wellness and fun, and of course – parties! For those who love their music, clubs and DJs, the Croatia Routes have got the lot. You can even join the Ultra Festival or Hideout Festival Routes, enjoying all the music and entertainment of these world-beating dance music festivals, while also sailing the Croatian coastline for the adventure of a lifetime.

The Yacht Week in Croatia features a different party every night with some big names guaranteed. This year you can catch Wankelmut and Weiss, alongside the dedicated party starters, The Yacht Week resident DJs. There’s the unique circle raft party, where the yachts join together in a circle out at sea and party with tunes coming from headline DJs playing aboard the Buzz Boat – a floating DJ booth kitted out with VOID Acoustic soundsystem!

On the Croatia Hideout Festival Route, the circle raft will be set in the stunning beach cove at Zrce Beach, just behind the festival main stage! There’s also the stylish Riviera Chic party at the infamous Carpe Diem bar in Hvar, or perhaps the Island Pool Party at Olife Beach Club. New for 2021 is Dockside Disco and this is the focus for the debut DT Radio show.

Dockside Disco is a brand new concept for this year’s The Yacht Week and promises to deliver sparkles, sequins and glitter balls galore as the stunning, 200-year-old Fort George in Croatia turns into the dancefloor for the night. Those guests joining The Yacht Week Greece Route can also enjoy the Dockside Disco, as Ostria nightclub channels the classic Studio 54 vibes.

Stepping up to the decks to kick things off is the suitably named Frisky Disco, a.k.a. Tom Morrey – also responsible for entertainment on The Yacht Week, which means he can be relied upon to deliver a very special mix. This one hour mix kicks off with some old school disco vibes before pushing the energy up with some quality disco house – the ideal soundtrack to hit the dancefloor as the sun goes down in paradise.

If you’re inspired by the music and want to make this summer count, then head on over to The Yacht Week and book a yacht for you and your mates to join the fun.

Catch The Yacht Week Show once a month on the 3rd Friday of the Monday at 8pm (UK).
