Share

Greg Gow has been steadily building a formidable reputation as one of Canada’s greatest musical exports in recent years.

Toronto-based Greg Gow is one of Canada’s leading Techno electronic dance music artists: a DJ, producer, promoter and label manager. Known for releases on legendary Detroit labels Transmat & KMS, and his debut album on Social Experiment Records.

Greg has been steadily building a formidable reputation as one of Canada’s greatest musical exports in recent years. Consistently pushing the boundaries of his art, Greg’s unique sound is a skilful hybrid of soulful Detroit techno, marinated in the flavours of his Toronto roots. Hugely influenced by Detroit as a result of a deep appreciation for the sound and people of the area.

For his next release, his ‘Base Jumping’ EP on Poker Flat Recordings, Gow provides a strong reminder of why he’s held in such high regard. Check out the release here.

Today, he joins on the podcast for the first time. Listen to it below, on Mixcloud or iTunes here.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
