DBL-C is the seasoned Canadian producer now based in London, UK. He brings to the scene a fresh proposition that has been in the making for some time. Not only a producer, but he’s also the head of Back It Up Records and an expert DJ.
DBL-C’s experience and know-how propel him to deliver unique productions and sets that entice the senses. If not the only one, perhaps one of the few DJ’s with the needed understanding of groove and skill to fuse house and tech house in an immaculate seamless manner… as if they always belonged together. His DJ sets open new possibilities from a different perspective. His charisma is soft-spoken and tentative. When he’s behind the decks in a very unselfish way, he will take you on a journey that is about you, your vibe and what you are feeling therefore leaving you on a new level of high!
With the release of his ‘Doesn’t Make Sense’ EP we ask him to pick the plugins shaping his sound right now.

The UI is simple to use, which allows me to dial in and tweak very quickly. Great sounding factory presets. The expansion packs are really useful when I want a more gritty, aggressive sound.

FabFilter Pro Q 3 is one of the best EQ’s on the market. This is used on every one of my channels and you can use up to 24 EQ bands. The new Spectrum Grab feature is very helpful when I’m trying to find that problem frequency. This is definitely an EQ worth investing in.

Another useful tool in my arsenal of plugins. Khords is the perfect weapon when I’m looking to incorporate old school dance elements into my production such as stabs, plucks and pads. The UI is easy to use as it looks similar to Loopmasters Bass Master. If you want to expand the factory bank,
