DBL-C, the seasoned Canadian producer now based in London, UK brings to the scene a fresh proposition that has been in the making for some time. Not only a producer, but he’s also the head of Back It Up Records and an expert DJ. DBL-C’s experience and know-how propel him to deliver unique productions and sets that entice the senses. If not the only one, perhaps one of the few DJ’s with the needed understanding of groove and skill to fuse house and tech house in an immaculate seamless manner… as if they always belonged together. His DJ sets open new possibilities from a different perspective. His charisma is soft-spoken and tentative. When he’s behind the decks in a very unselfish way, he will take you on a journey that is about you, your vibe and what you are feeling, therefore, leaving you on a new level of high!
With the release of “Dancing Not Over”, we ask him to pick his top plugin deals for Black Friday.
1. Arturia V Collection 7
This massive collection of vintage synth and keyboards is heavily discounted for Black Friday. It’s amazing at how much content you get for the money. The V Collection 7 bundle comes with a total of 24 instruments and over 8000 presets for you to get started with. As an owner since the V Collection 3, Arturia has made some significant additions such as the CZ V and Synthi V. The synth I turn to the most in this bundle is the Jup-8 V.

2. Izotope Black Friday Bundle
Izotope has bundled 7 of their most essential tools at an incredible price. This Black Friday bundle includes Ozone Elements, RX Elements, Nectar Elements, Neutron Elements, Trash 2, DDLY and Mobius Filter. I’m a huge fan of Izotope products and regularly use Nectar on vocal tracks and Ozone to master.

3. Serato Sample
Serato Sample is my favourite sampler plugin I use to quickly chop and play back samples. It’s UI is intuitive yet easy to use especially if you’re familiar with Serato’s DJ software.
Once I load in a track in, I use the ‘Find Samples’ button to generate 16 random slices which are then laid out across my keyboard and instantly I can get creative. I definitely recommend this to those who want a simple approach to sampling.

4. Loopmasters Bass Master Bundle
This is my go-to plugin for bass. Whether I’m searching for a punchy mid or sub-bass, this plugin always delivers. The UI is simple to use, which allows me to dial in and tweak very quickly. Great sounding factory presets. The expansion packs which are included in this bundle (House Bass, Bass Pickup, Techno Pulse, Proxima Bass Annihilation, Future Bass, Dirty Analogue, Drum & Bass Warfare and Seismic Bass) are really useful when I want a more gritty, aggressive sound.

5. Loopmasters Khords Bundle
Another useful tool in my arsenal of plugins. Khords is the perfect weapon when I’m looking to incorporate old school dance elements into my production such as stabs, plucks and pads. The UI is easy to use as it looks similar to Loopmasters Bass Master. This bundle includes all the latest expansions (Cloud Waves, LoFi Keys, Future Bass and Drum & Bass Aurora).
