Now, he’s kicking off 2025 in style with his latest collab alongside Polish DJ/producer D’Vision – ‘You Got It All’ – landing on Claptone’s Golden Recordings on 17th January. Residing in London, Italian-born CASSIMM has built quite the reputation on the underground house music scene through both his high-profile productions and analogue-rich sets. A sound flushed with contrasting shades of house, CASSIMM’s take on dance music and all its distinct nuances have elevated him to one of the most renowned and popular booking artists on the international circuit. His musical education and deep understanding of the underground dance music classification is evident within a frequency that emphatically sweeps the full spectrum of the house genre.

CASSIMM lands on Radio Slave’s Rekids for the first time with the ‘House of Moves’ EP. It kicks off with ‘Body And Soul’, a hands-in-the-air affair backed by a slick, Jackin’ Tech House groove and earworm vocal. It’s a surefire recipe to tease the crowd into a dancefloor moment before CASSIMM’s ‘I Hear You’ comes in with plenty of soul on the B-side. Dubby House chords form the base above swinging organic percussion, with another classic vocal working the nostalgia on top. Today we find him in “big-tune” mode. “Shined On Me” was originally written & recorded by bona-fide dance music legend Eric “E-Smoove” Miller (look him up, he’s right there with Steve “Silk” Hurley, “Jack Your Body” and all those other we-were-there-first house producers from Chicago). If you were in a nightclub in 2005, you might remember it. But like a lot of tracks from those times, you don’t hear them much today, probably because they just don’t sound as good as they used to.

Enter CASSIMM. His version of “Shined On Me” reworks the original’s bumpy house groove into a monstrous tech-house thumper. It’s the kind of thing you’d expect to hear soundtracking a huge Elrow party or hear Fisher drop at a festival. The hook never got old, but the beats did and that’s when you need a DJ & producer like Alessio to bring it right back into now. Like Mike Vale’s “Music Is The Answer” (on the same label), expect to hear this here there and everywhere.

Simon Shaw’s Sense Traxx return this April With a four track EP from London based producer CASSIMM entitled ‘Never Mind’, comprising four tracks with remixes from Mad Villains, Greco (NYC) and Tom Jay.

Since its inception only a year ago, Sense Traxx has been pushing its signature percussive and jacking house sound into the forefront of the UK underground scene, with a prolific release schedule that has been graced by the likes of Dantiez Saunderson, Tommy Vercetti and Julyan Dubson. Now returning with an EP from new recruit and Aquarium London resident CASSIMM, who has released on Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse and Supernova’s Lapsus.

Our Debut Transmission, the original mix of ‘Never Mind’ kick starts proceedings with and infectious heady groove, CASSIMM then injects rapturous snare fills and sparkling synths, whilst further utilising crafty filtering atmospherics and a soulful vocal hook. Check it out below!
