Colombia’s Jonathan Jaramillo releases ‘Good Enough’ on Stacey Pullen’s Blackflag Recordings. Marking his label debut with a statement release, the up-and-coming South American DJ/producer drops a slick two-track EP featuring the talents of Fenky on 13th September 2024.

Born in Cali, Colombia, Jonathan Jaramillo has risen through the ranks of his city’s vibrant electronic music scene, carving out a sound that blends Latin influences with fresh house sounds.

His sound, rooted in early 2000s house music and with a deep appreciation for tribal rhythms, have culminated in a production style rich in percussive elements, seamlessly fusing salsa and Latin flavours. With releases on labels like Nervous, Sticker Music and others, he now steps things up with an impressive debut on Stacey Pullen’s Blackflag Recordings, presenting his two-track ‘Good Enough’ EP.

The title track, featuring Fenky, is a vibrant fusion of intricate percussion and infectious grooves, layered with vibrant vocal chops and playful rhythms, while ‘The Systems’ continues the momentum, delivering a deep, hypnotic groove that captivates listeners, underpinned by Jaramillo’s rhythmic textures, sweeping synths and trippy effects.
