Sydney Artist ANT ENOCH shares narou’s remix of ‘Big Party’

Sydney-based artist ANT ENOCH kicks off 2025 with a stunning reinterpretation of his track ‘Big Party,’ enlisting Bali-based producer narou for a chill house makeover that shifts the song into a hazy, dancefloor-ready soundscape. Originally a guitar-led bedroom pop finale, narou’s remix infuses retro synthwave harmonies, crisp percussive grooves, and shimmering textures, bringing a newfound vibrancy to ENOCH’s deeply introspective lyrics.

Following the success of his debut EP ‘Big Talk Big Party’, which earned a place in Atwood Magazine’s 25 Best EPs of 2024, ENOCH continues to blur the boundaries between indie, house, and electronica. While the original track delves into contemplation and emotional vulnerability, narou’s remix heightens the track’s dramatic nostalgia, reflecting the uncertainty and self-doubt found in ENOCH’s lyrics:

“What will people think?
It was such a big party
There was laughter in the love
Were we just getting started?
Was I just killing time?
I can’t help the way that I feel”

Speaking about the remix, narou shares:

“I love how the track feels so calm and free-flowing, almost weightless. As soon as I heard it, I knew I had to create a faster, more uptempo version. The vocals captivated me instantly. I wanted the song to feel like a big party, so I crafted an uptempo beat that bursts with energy and fully opens up to set the vibe. The minimalism of the original track inspired me to keep things simple, preserving its essence without overproducing it.”
