Unusual Suspects will return to Sankeys Ibiza once more in 2017, and once again the much loved night leads from the front with only the most tasteful, cutting edge and underground names.

The season will run from May 11th to September 28th, with weekly parties held every Thursday throughout summer. Both The Lab and The Basement will be open, meaning that bigger main room — as well as more intimate second room — experiences will be on offer. Sound-wise, there is nowhere better in Ibiza thanks to the club’s flagship Pioneer installation which offers booming lows and crisp highs all night long.

Holding down the fort each week throughout the season will be residents Federico Grazzini, Janina and Frank Storm, an Italian born DJ who has played all over the world, as well as releasing his cultured and stripped back sounds on top labels like Yuma, Sleep and Baile Muzik. May 12th will see Frank release on Get Physical, and May 17th he’ll release Serialism EP with remixes from Guido Schneider and Dana Ruh

The venue is a fascinating underground space on many different levels, with brick lined walls and corridors all beautifully lit and leading to some unique party spaces. Currently undergoing a big renovation and open early May, it is raw and atmospheric and will be decked out specially for this party with palm trees and projections for an extra sensory experience.

Musically many bases are covered, with Chicago house legend and star vocalist Farley Jackmaster Funk is the main headliner. He will be joined by the cult Soundstream, whose rough and authentic MPC made house and disco is filled with heartwarming vibes and sensual grooves on his own self titled label. As well as that, Tenderlonius’s London based 22a Orchestra will also be on hand to offer some serious playing chops and contemporary jazz vibes, broken beats and space age sounds. The always on point Moody Collective will play across both rooms to round off a fine line-up.

One of the most prominent and outstanding techno craftsmen of our generation returns to his roots with Paradygm Shift; the first Robert Hood album to be released since 2012 on Dekmantel Records. The LP serves as a milestone for the Dutch imprint as it marks their 50th release and drops on May 22.

Paradygm Shift is the return to the distinguished style that defined Hood’s music in the early 90s, and is the culmination of a three EP series. It is the older and more mature brother to his classic Minimal Nation, highlighting his more evolved, technical craftsmanship.

Since DJing for the Dekmantel crew in 2010, Hood has been a regular fixture ever since. His new record is the perfect marriage, cementing the Detroit-Dutch relationship further. Overall, Paradym Shift is an album of delicately orchestrated techno that is quintessentially minimal in focus, and grandiose in sound, juxtaposed with electronic funk, wrapped up in blisteringly urgent, and honest, pulsating techno.

After already revealing a storm of supernovas for stage partner Deep Medi, the worldwide independent drum and bass brand fail to disappoint with the second announcement of an outstanding line-up for Fabriclive, the club that steals hearts of all clubbers; and coming over from Belgium, jump-up dons Invaderz.

Rallying around the legendary London Elektricity Big Band on Hospitality’s own main stage, are the first class of a scene in which the label has been the top of for over two decades. On the mainline since the millennium, Danny Byrd harks back to this history whilst to this day honing the future of D&B, again embracing new faces and influences on ‘Golden Ticket’.

Esteem for D&B heritage, with a healthy and hard-hitting dose of experimentation is what characterises Fred V & Grafix too, instrumental in realising the possibilities of the genre on a live stage with pop elements and chart guests. This meeting of the old and new schools is what keeps Hospitality vital, icons like Nu:Tone, Logistics and S.P.Y. Playing a special Hospital Records heritage set will be rising star, Krakota, Tokyo aesthete Makoto will join along with current instigators Hugh Hardie and BBC R1 resident Metrik.

Also announced for the arena, dominant duo My Nu Leng and their deep sounds complimented by Dread MC; a special live set from liquid drum and bass icon, Calibre and talented wordsmith MC DRS; and a B2B set from heavyweight emperors, Mefjus & Kasra (Critical Sound System) as well as Chimpo & Sam Binga & Trigga. There’s no doubt this 16-act showdown will blow you away!

The only festival of it’s kind in the UK, Hospitality In The Park returns to Finsbury Park on Saturday 23rd September 2017, for a day of jaw-dropping, body-popping and sensational sounds.

Nick Curly, the Mannheim DJ has been as busy as ever recently, continuing to set his own tech house and techno agenda with big EPs on labels like Drumcode and remixes for Pan Pot’s Second State as well as Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep in Sound. Alongside this, his 8Bit label continues to turn out underground essentials and his Trust brand goes from strength to strength as he announces a summer tour.

Starting on March 25th in Mexico City with Rodriguez Jr Live and Ryan Crosson, then onto Newcastle for Boiler Shop on April 16th with Nastia, Robert Dietz and Maxxi Soundsystem, before scoring a Fabric debut in Room 2 on April 29th with Nick, Paul Ritch and Terry Francis.

Summer then sees Trust head to Off-Week Barcelona on Thursday June 15th at the ZT Hotel. Mathias Kaden and Tobi Neumann are back on the bill, with special guests Darius Syrossian, Mar-T b2b Luca Donzelli and resident Steffen Deux b2b Gorge.

August 5th, the crew return to Leeds and Distrikt, with the full line up waiting to be revealed soon And Finally Kalypso, Nick Curley, Jackmaster return for a residency party at Watergate, Berlin on October 14th.
