As 2015 prepares to breathe its last, NexGen Music Group spawns a new offshoot covering the garage, 2-step and house end of the spectrum
Joining NexGen Records (drum & bass/downtempo/alternative) and Migration Recordings (dubstep/future bass), the newly founded Affectionate Grooves imprint kicks off with two fun and funky EPs from the UK’s Kachina. Promising “music from the spiritual dimension to sharpen your senses and calm your soul,” we can’t think of a better (non-alcoholic) way to deal with the in-laws over the festive period.
Crossing the boundaries between garage, house and bass music, the Smile and Heisenberg EPs will be joined by two more 4-trackers from Kachina (titled Blind and Broken Lines) in January. Check them out ahead of time via the Affectionate Grooves SoundCloud.
In addition, NexGen have launched a brand new website and store.
