To infinity and beyond! Infinity Ink AKA Ali Love and Luca Cazal have taken to Soundcloud to unveil their new single, ‘Too Strong’.

Having previously been premiered by Radio 1’s first lady of dance, Annie Mac, the record is the duo’s first work for Different Recordings, the electronic imprint of the [PIAS] group having hooked up with the label in Miami at the beginning of last year.

Mixed in New York by Phil Moffa, the cut offers a first glimpse of their forthcoming EP with the track’s release preceding further singles ahead of the arrival of their much anticipated debut album.

Set to arrive March 25th, the strength of their acid-heavy opening gambit comes as little surprise to us at Data Transmission having been blown away by their debut live show at the Paradise closing party at DC-10. Described as a transformative ‘moment’ for the band, it encapsulated their vision of peaktime, fully live house music and demonstrated the ambition of their new material. The first UK live show takes place later this month at Elrow presents Hot Creations at Birmingham’s Rainbow Venues on 26 March. We’ll see you there.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
