Definite Grooves land on Another Rhythm with ‘Shake You Loose’

Share

Definite Grooves, the seasoned house duo from East Yorkshire, are back with a funky, piano-driven anthem, “Shake You Loose,” dropping on Another Rhythm.

Andrew Eggleton and Danny Hird, who’ve been shaping the UK house scene since the ‘90s, are returning with renewed energy after taking some time off to focus on family and work. Now, they’re ready to light up dance floors again with a fresh wave of releases.

The duo made their mark early, performing at iconic venues like Ministry of Sound and earning support from house legends Danny Rampling and Pete Tong. Their first release, “Nothing Like The Sound,” was picked up by the legendary Dtension label, and their momentum kept building from there.

After a hiatus, Definite Grooves have rediscovered their passion for house music and are back in full force. Their recent release, “Love Belongs To Me,” was a hit—supported by BBC Introducing, charting on Traxsource, and leading to a comeback show at Café Mambo in their hometown.

With “Shake You Loose,” coming out on Another Rhythm, the duo proves why they’ve been such a staple in the house music scene. Up next is a collaboration with Crazy Fluke and The Men for Armada Records, showing off their musicality and versatility.

It’s clear that Definite Grooves are back in the game, and with their infectious beats, it’s like they never left. Keep an eye out for more from these house legends!
