GruVee joins the Spotlight Mix Series

With over 6 years of experience, 4 of which have been in a professional capacity, GruVee is a DJ and producer who is constantly pushing the boundaries and experimenting in the house & disco house scene.

GruVee’s most recent singles ‘You’re Mine’ and ‘He’s So Good’ has been making noise in the house music community. Both signed to Data Transmission, they have been gaining support from some of the huge names in the industry, including Purple Disco Machine, Mark Knight, DJ EZ, CID, Joris Voorn, Sarah Story, Carly Wilford and more.

GruVee has played in some of the hottest clubs and venues, including Sheffield’s infamous Tank, O2 Academy, Network and the award-winning CODE, where he has held a previous residency. He is well-known in the Sheffield disco scene and has supported artists such as The Shapeshifters, Cloonee, Meduza, Prospa, and other local DJs. After playing main stage to a sold-out local festival and headlining the second room, with over 2000 people attending, he’s branching out to Manchester clubs and on track for more festival plays this summer.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
