Rising techno talent, BEC, has seen her ascendency climb at a fast pace, with her music quickly championed via releases for Intec, Drumcode, Filth On Acid and Pan Pot’s Second State label. And on her bumper debut EP for Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains label, she continues to showcase her party-ready sound via four killer cuts.
BEC is a relentless techno talent who has got to the top in a very short space of time. She was headhunted by Pan-Pot for their influential Second State label from her first release. Next, she was snapped up by Carl Cox’s Intec and Adam Beyer’s Drumcode. Not only has she put out her music on those labels, but has also played with them as a tour member at showcases everywhere from Burning Man to Tobacco Dock and Warehouse Project. Add in solo tours of North & South America, Asia, India and Europe and much talked about sets at Fabrik Madrid, Watergate Berlin and Sunwaves Romania, and you have one of techno’s brightest contemporary stars.
The title track, ‘Not If You Say’, is a buoyant banger, with gated pads adding a trance-like quality to the industrious drum patterns, which we premiere today on our NUDE Techno channel. ‘Not If You Say’ EP by BEC is released on Kneaded Pains from 27th November 2020.
