Half Baked Reveals Line-up For Epic 22-Hour 15th Birthday Party

Half Baked, one of the UK’s most iconic underground parties, is throwing a massive 22-hour bash on Saturday 30th November, to celebrate 15 years in the game. Kicking off at the brand’s own spot, Number 90 in Hackney Wick, and rolling into Starlane Pizza Bar, the party will be soundtracked by some true favourites: Sonja Moonear, Dyed Soundorom, Remi Mazet (Live), Giammarco Ossini, Bas Ibelini, plus residents Robin Ordell, Greg Brockmann, Sam Bangura, and Olita.

Half Baked’s story is as authentic as it gets, growing from the ground up. Back when they started, it was all about doing things on a shoestring budget—installing their own sound systems, setting up makeshift bars, and lighting up spaces that others hadn’t even thought of. Their first party was a low-key Sunday afternoon in November 2009 in a Shoreditch car park to celebrate co-founder Bruno’s birthday. About 150 people came, and that close-knit crew kicked off what would become London’s top spot for Sunday clubbing. Within a year, Half Baked was touring globally with stops at D-Edge in Brazil, Miami Winter Music Conference, Off Sonar Barcelona, ADE Amsterdam, Concrete Paris, and Bar 25 Berlin.

From the start, Half Baked has stayed true to its DIY roots, always on the hunt for quirky, unused venues to keep things fresh. Bruno and Remi would cycle across East London, scouting out cool new spots, which is why a light-clad bike is always suspended above the dance floor as a throwback to those days.

In 2013, after a string of wild parties above a print factory at 90 Wallis Road, they scored the chance to rent the entire building and created the now-famous Number 90. Today, it’s a community hub with an award-winning reputation, and its growth hasn’t stopped—nearby warehouses have since been transformed into venues 90 Live and 90 Hideout.

From these East London roots to over 600 events around the globe, Half Baked’s influence is undeniable. They even have their own record label, putting out tracks from legends like Mathew Johnson, Shonky, Margaret Dygas, Voigtmann, and the late Mike Huckaby.

All of this history, friendship, and music will come together for Half Baked’s biggest event yet on November 30th.
