One of Germany’s most unique and hedonistic gatherings of creative minds, communities and cultural icons – MELT Festival, returns for summer 2023 with an outstanding array of talent from across the globe. Returning to their spiritual home, the Ferropolis City of Iron – MELT festival provides one of the most unique festival locations in Europe, surrounded by disused engineering behemoths, which become part of the event’s structure throughout the weekend.

MELT Festival have always pushed the envelope, sitting on the cutting edge of musical culture and booking a line-up that showcases the stars of the future, new sounds and unique approaches. The first announcement includes plenty of hedonism and late-night raving with the likes of future jungle star Nia Archives, Skin on Skin and Bru-C added to the lineup as well as Gen Z Drum & Bass behemoths piri & tommy. There’s regular MELT Fest attendees Marcel Dettman, Shanti Celeste and Joy Orbison, as well as plenty of smooth funk and soul influences from Daphni and Sevdaliza.
As always, the lineup represents the creativity and vibe of the attendees at MELT Festival. Varied, unique and multicultural – with a passion for creativity and flair and constantly evolving and looking forward. The festival’s organizers avoid big-name headliners in the name of pushing ticket sales, instead, the curation focuses on a rounded experience of different sounds and musical cultures for fans worldwide to experience.
“With this first line-up announcement we would like to highlight the complete range and diversity of MELT. Whether it’s electronic live acts, German newcomers, techno and house legends, Gen Z icons or even international future greats: they all have their rightful place in the MELT cosmos. We are very pleased that we can already give a foretaste of the more than 150 acts of MELT 2023 today.”
