Liam Davis & Aidan Knox combine on ‘Higher’

Australian house music artists Liam Davis and Aidan Knox have teamed up for a three-track EP via Ekoboy‘s Talk Of the Town that blurs the lines between modern tech house and groovy classic house music.
Melbourne based artist Liam Davis is no stranger to the music industry. The past five years have been spent developing and learning not only the art of DJ’ing. He’s also been developing the knowledge of sounds and the technique that is dance music production. He is now ready to re-introduce himself to the world as a fully-fledged artist.
Growing up in the coastal town of Byron Bay, Aidan Knox has already achieved big goals in such a small amount of time. Playing alongside heavyweight international artists such as Detlef, Solardo and Claptone to name a few, he brings big, energetic grooves in his DJ sets. Aidan’s first release landed in March on Kootz Music and since then he has signed music to several more labels which will be dropping in the coming months, proving that he isn’t in a hurry to slow down anytime soon.
The lead single of the EP titled “Higher”, features dark gritty basslines and rhythmic synths along with compelling vocals to really put the icing on what is one seriously dirty cake.
The following two records of the EP, “The Awakening” and “Kick Back”, are the very definition of why opposites attract. The two records feature all house music has to offer, grooving basslines, catchy vocals, synths that will knock your socks off and driving percussions that will be sure to send ravers of the dance floor into a frenzy till the wee hours of the morning.
We premiere “Higher” on Data Transmission and the EP arrives exclusively on Beatport May 7 via Talk Of The Town Records.
