One of our favorite venues for the past few years has undoubtedly been Corsica Studios with the South London arts space putting on some of the capitals most memorable nights with some truly special line ups. One of the most nights best known for bring high quality music to the studios and hoping to add to that illustrious history will be the Tief as they welcome ex Panorama bar resident Prosumer for yet another 3 hour set on the 21st February.

Joining him will be Canadian born, Berlin ex-pat The Mole. With a string of amazing music on reputable labels such as Perlon, Mule and Internasjonal, we can’t wait to check out The Mole on his Tief debut. Another artist we’re excited to see on the Bill is Arttu’s who we’ve been excited to see ever since hearing his first release on Clone’s Royal Oak series. After remixing Sisterhood’s breakthrough track ‘Call Me Ishmael’ on the very first Tief music EP we have been wondering how long it would be before we saw Arttu invited down to test his sound through the Corsica  sound system. Further support comes from Prophets of the south (aka Ooft! & Esa) who are also the artists behind the tief002 ‘Ek maak julle dance’ EP. Glasgow’s Ali Ooft! and Cape Town’s Esa met through a mutual love of music and began producing ‘afro-influenced’ house together releasing their first EP through Tief Music back in August which quickly gained support from some of the scenes coolest names with Axel Boman, Midland, Auntie Flo, Justin Van Der Volgen and  Medlar amongst the names pulling it out of the record bags. The first time the two will play under the POTS name they seem sure to add another dimension to the nights proceedings before Bradley Zero rounds off the bill.

So with stacked talent from top to bottom it looks to be yet another special night at Corsica this Friday. Get your tickets here

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
