Share

Hailing from Southampton (UK), Jence (UK) describe their sound as quick, upbeat & feel good and this EP ticks all those boxes. They launch the brand new Data Transmission backed label called 63b with their ‘Forgotten Nothin’.

Jence (UK) team up with Grahame Farmer to launch this brand new Deep Tech / Minimal label backed with the Data Transmission network and a host of exciting new artists. The label nods back to Data Transmission’s beginnings at Turnmills nightclub – using the old Street number for the venue.

Grahame Farmer ‘I love simple brand names, and i was looking at an old flyer and remember the 63b and thought it would be a cool name for a label. I’ve been into this sound for a while and Jence are making some great music so wanted to do something with them, so it fit together’

Jence (UK) ” After building a solid relationship with Grahame and and great coach he is! We teamed up to start a strictly minimal/deep tech label to express upcoming artists work and push the sound further out. 63b records will be coming in hot from the get go, with a track from myself ‘Forgotten Nothin’ Which describes the label excellent.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
