NUDE190: Isabelle Beaucamp

Share

Watch out for the electrifying presence of Berlin’s own Isabelle Beaucamp, a meteorically rising force in the techno scene. She has graced big stages worldwide, adorned the cover of FAZEmag multiple times, played at the world’s famous bathroom HÖR and was voted second in the FAZE year poll as a 2023 breakthrough artist.

Isabelle Beaucamp shows a strikingly rapid and steep DJ and producer career topped off with the extraordinary milestones that she has not only successfully founded her own music label BAZAR SAUVAGE RECORDS in 2023 but has further established her own flourishing fashion brand BAZAR SAUVAGE COUTURE with a Showroom and an extraordinary Vernissage event and Fashion show at Paris Fashion Week in early 2024.

Isabelle has achieved significant success with her first tracks, which quickly reached the top 15 in the Beatport charts and got featured on the banner, followed by her latest mesmerising tracks, included in the world-renowned Techno Bunker playlist.

Known for her refreshingly distinctive sound, Isabelle seamlessly blends hard-hitting techno with enchanting grooves, (psy)trance and a touch of acid. Renowned for her eclectic sets, she magically weaves in elements from Trap & Rap, oriental music, Brazilian tribal, breakbeats, drum & bass, and old-school Detroit techno, captivating crowds in ecstatic frenzy.

Her creative mixes, inspired by the world’s cultures as well as the gritty Berlin techno on top of her on-point 100% energy and charisma make her musical journey for all ravers a shared adventure you can’t escape.

Today, she joins the NUDE Techno podcast, with an hour of Techno. Listen to it below on SoundCloud & Mixcloud. If you are feeling this series, then please consider supporting it on Mixcloud Select.

My Podcast in 10 words:
Bouncy, fast-driven melodic grooves hitted by hard techno intermezzos.

What’s your personal favourite track on it?
Power by AREA ØNE

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
It is the rapid change between moods. There are emotionally long bridges that are interrupted by vocal bounce. There are industrial vibes that are quickly mixed up by trance and psy and there a hard techno intermezzo breaks through. The set demands full attention from the listener, but at the same time you can let yourself go, because it takes you on a wild journey that draws you deep into its hypnotic spell.

Tell us about your next EP?
On 13 December, my track SLAYQUEEN will be released together with Niotech. It’s a hard acid techno sound that is loosened up with many playful elements and provides hyper energy on the dance floor in a bouncing way with a lot of drive. My Slayqueen vocals complete the vibe. This collab with Niotech was a lot of fun and is our first joint project.

What have you got coming up?
I am currently planning a tour in Africa at the beginning of 2025, where I will present my music and fashion in a showcase with local performers. There will also be an India tour and another tour in Asia around March 25.

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
Give new ways a chance!

Often change is currently seen as something bad, be it in music, in the DJ scene, in social media, in society, but everything is constantly changing and without change we will perish. It is the essence of everything that everything is in constant change.

This is not to say that we should not respect what has already been achieved. But change should be viewed as something exciting with curiosity and openness, and not with fear and rejection.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
