As the electronic music industry gears up for one of the most highly anticipated events in the dance music calendar, Unlearn is set to unveil Unlearn:Amsterdam, the debut instalment in their compilation series aligned with the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).
Over the years, the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has transcended its status as the world’s largest electronic music conference, blossoming into a five-day festival that not only showcases music but also fosters the exchange of ideas and hosts a continuous stream of parties that beckon enthusiasts from across the globe.
Unlearn:Amsterdam packs a punch with an impressive lineup of five brand new and exclusive tracks from Freqish, Atari Safari, DJ Limbo, A.D and Doc Brown, all of whom drop some pure fire tech house heat.
New to Unlearn are Freqish and Atari Safari who make their label debuts on Unlearn:Amsterdam.
Freqish is a relatively new moniker for an artist with two decades of production and DJing experience. His releases under the project soon found homes on key labels like Gettoblaster’s We Jack, DJ Dan’s InStereo Recordings, Florida Imprint Ravesta Records, iconic NY labels Nervous Records and King Street Sounds as well as their sub-label Street King, while arguably his biggest track so far Let’s Get High landed on Dirtybird in 2021.
Atari Safari AKA Keef and Ben Booker, are a UK DJ/Production duo who hail from the North West of England. With releases already signed with Under Pressure, Reptile Dysfunction, Hausa Groove, Freakin909, Subtractive Records, Klaphouse, and Rollerblaster Records to name a few; plus, remixes for artists such as CASSIMM, EDUKE and Donald Pump, you’re sure to be hearing a lot more from them.
Returning to Unlearn are DJ Limbo – a South Korean-born DJ and producer based in Boston, MA known for producing tech house music with a rough bassline, minimalistic approach and groove – and LA-based producer on the rise A.D. And of course, no Unlearn compilation would be complete without a contribution from the label founder Doc Brown.
Catch Doc Brown playing a special disco set at our 15th Birthday in Amsterdam and grab the Atari Safari remix on Beatport.
