In conversation with… Dirtybird’s Label Manager Deron Delgado

With nearly 20 years experience in the Digital Music & Media environment in an entrepreneurial role, Deron Delgado has amassed an all-encompassing knowledge of music label management, digital distribution, licensing, artist development, event production, publishing, and music marketing strategies.

In 2004, he was at the forefront of the digital revolution where he helped launch one of the world’s first digital download music stores, Stompy.com. As the Director of Label Relations & Business Development, he negotiated and developed the business relationships for thousands of labels and helped launch the careers of hundreds of unknown producers who went on to become world-class artists on major labels.

In 2015, his proven expertise also landed him the role of Label Manager at the iconic Dirtybird Records. Managing all the day-to-day responsibilities of the esteemed label and publishing company, as well as booking talent for the Dirtybird Campout and BBQ festivals, Deron executes the vision of the musical trendsetter.
