Shadow Net Recordings return with Loudek and his new two-tracker ‘All Wrong’ and ‘Welcome Back’. Known for blending the emotive depth of liquid with the intricate energy of neuro, Loudek delivers an unforgettable journey packed with rich musicality and dancefloor-ready vibes. This release showcases his ability to weave powerful emotions into hard-hitting beats, solidifying his place as a standout artist in the Drum & Bass scene.
Awaking mid-freefall, ears rushing with the roar of cold winds, he felt the ground rushing to meet him at terminal velocity. Blinking against the blur of his descent, he opened his eyes and realized the impossible—he was falling. Clouds whipped past, but there was still no sign of the earth below.
As reality crashed in, the memories did too. “This couldn’t be right. This was all wrong!” He vividly recalled the moments before—the fading light, the stillness, and his soul rising into the ether. Now here he was. “Welcome back”, he thought grimly.
Flashes of his past played out like fevered dreams: the battle, the chaos, and his beloved Sophia. Love and loss tangled together—sweet, bitter, and achingly raw. Digging deeper into the recesses of his mind, he saw her again, her embrace a memory he would cling to for eternity.
The title track ‘All Wrong’ opens with lush, emotional pads and vocals that radiate heartache and resilience. A sweet, soulful build leads into a stunning drop, where intricate musicality meets a powerful, driving energy. ‘All Wrong’ is a poignant yet invigorating journey, hitting hard while tugging at the heartstrings.
From the very first note of ‘Welcome Back’, this track grabs hold and doesn’t let go. The 4×4 build injects an electrifying energy, nodding to the classic UKF Drum & Bass sound. A lush, heavy synth takes centre stage, carrying you through the track like floating on a stormy cloud. ‘Welcome Back’ is an anthemic piece, perfect for any DJ set—whether to kick things off, energize the middle, or end on a high.
Today we premiere ‘All Wrong’ which you can check out below. The two-track single drops this Friday, 29th November, you can grab a copy here!
