Sum up this podcast in 10 words…

A sunday exploration into the peak techno universe with some of my favs tracks from 2024 so far.

What’s your personal favourite track on it?

Drulez – Boreal

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?

I played several of these tracks on a recent tour in India. It was a fantastic tour in which I’ve met new cities and new people, so when I was recording this set at my studio, it was inevitable to remember a bit of that ‘spicey’ taste of the recent tour.

Tell us about your next EP?

I am working in an album now, to be released late this year, just released a track on Pedro Mercado’s Chrom Recordings imprint, which received good exposure on Beatport, getting high charts positions on Indie Dance, but now a bit more focused on the upcoming album, that will be a sort of mix between techno, indie-dance, electronica and pop.

What have you got coming up?

May is a full month, with several shows in Germany, including two shows in Berlin, a participation in the Berlin Dance Music Event conferences as panelist, and preparing a bit for June which is a very busy month in our home Barcelona due to Sonar and Off Week, plus upcoming presentations in Spain and both North and SouthAmerica, as well as more Germany shows and then after the Summer, again to ADE.

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?

Just keep enjoying music, don’t forget to follow the artists you like and give them support as much as possible and say thanks to all the producers, musicians and DJ who create such as beautiful tunes that inspire us and of course keep reading all the media outlets that support and spread that work, making the grounds for letting our industry keep rolling and in a good shape.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
