Damelo joins the Spotlight Mix

Share

A growing name amongst Miami’s rich house landscape, 305 resident Damelo has been showcasing his groove-led sound via labels such as Mindshake, South Of Saturn, and Issues through to the likes of WHYNOTUS and Hurry Up Slowly on home turf.

Stepping out to add a powerful label debut to his catalogue, he heads across the Atlantic and lands on SOSA’s recently revamped COCO imprint for the first time, unveiling the impactful ‘Just Do It’.

The Florida-based DJ/producer makes his first appearance on the imprint after releasing music via the likes of Mindshake, South Of Saturn, and more, set for release on 12th July 2024. Reworking an infamous and provocative hip-hop classic and warping the vocal into the heart of a punchy club anthem, ‘Just Do It’ brings more heavyweight ammunition to COCO and serves up another production already seeing a lot of attention.

We asked him to drop on the Spotlight mix today, check it out below and grab it here.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
