Sum up this podcast in 10 words…
Grounded, Passion, Journey, Seamless, Tasteful, Focused, Current, Raw, Targeted, Defected.

What’s your personal favorite track on it?
Aisha (Strictly Rhythm) I put a lot of work into It to make sure It will stand up to the rest of the quality songs in the mix.

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
The journey… I come from the era of playing in clubs from open to close, so it’s all about telling some sort of story.

What’s the best gig you’ve played recently?
I have a residency here in NYC at Penthouse808. It is a rooftop venue that overlooks Manhattan. Every week I try to push the envelope with the audience. We have a staff of sometimes 50 people per evening. The crazy thing is they all dig what I’m playing and are excited every time I step in the building. It’s a real blessing to turn them onto music I love, most of them never used to listen to house.

What have you got coming up?
I just finished a vocal remix for Dantiez Saunderson (KMS) and working on another EP for Defected.

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
Wether you are a DJ, or just a music lover, I hope through my creative process I can turn you onto the music that I love. It all comes from the heart, and I’m always thankful I have the opportunity to share it with you. See you in Croatia! One luv! -Tommy

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
