ACA (YU) returns to Griffintown Records with the ‘Selecta’ EP

Share

ACA (YU) is back with his latest release, the Selecta EP, out now on Griffintown Records. This EP features two killer tracks that highlight ACA’s unique blend of dirty house grooves and swagger-filled production.

Hailing from Serbia and now based in Ibiza, ACA has been making waves in the electronic scene for years. Starting his musical journey in German clubs at just 16, his early influences in hip hop have shaped his distinct sound.

Over time, he’s become a rising force in house music, releasing on labels like CUFF, Moxy Muzik, and Nervous Records, and establishing himself as a true new-school tastemaker.

The EP’s title track, “Selecta,” is a naughty, gritty house cut with a warped bassline that twists and turns, adding a sense of menace to the groove. The track’s swaggering vocals and grime-laden beats bring an extra edge that will have hands in the air and heads nodding with that unmistakable “filthy” face.

On the flip side, “Highzenberg” brings a dark, driving energy with its heavy low-end and freaky vocal samples. The rubbery kicks and slick synths make this track a standout, packing a potent groove that’s impossible to ignore.

Both tracks showcase ACA’s ability to craft high-energy, dancefloor-ready cuts with a serious attitude. The Selecta EP is a must-listen for anyone looking for fresh, bold house music that brings the heat.
